Hello! I am Lizzie McClellan - harpist, pianist, teacher, and creator of McClellan Harp Studio. 

Growing up in a musical family, my question was never if I’d play an instrument, but rather which instrument I would choose. 

After a few years of taking piano lessons, I witnessed a harp performance for the first time. I immediately fell in love with the instrument, and soon had the fortune of beginning harp lessons at the age of 9. 

I went on to study under under ASU harp professor Rebecca Foreman, who coached me through Arizona Allstate Symphony and Band performances, solo and ensemble competitions, my first harp gigs, and taking on my first harp students.

I have had many opportunities to share my music, and continue to find joy in performing for events such as weddings, dinners, funerals, and receptions. Several years ago, I performed at the Nation's capital for Senator Orrin Hatch's farewell reception!

Since graduating from BYU with a Bachelors Degree in elementary education, I have worked as an elementary school teacher, English tutor, and instructional designer.

While my three adorable daughters are now my primary pupils, I am thrilled to continue my passions of music, teaching, and performing here at McClellan Harp Studio.
