Whether you're a seasoned musician or have never touched an instrument, whether you are 5 or 95 years old: 

Welcome to the harp club!! 

The harp is one of those few instruments that sounds amazing from the get go. It has an intuitive layout which, like piano, makes it a great starting instrument. 

While many people associate the harp with weddings or symphonies, it also sounds amazing in a variety of other genres like jazz or indie rock.

 I am excited to see what has drawn you to the harp and to learn how I can best support you on your harp journey!

In our harp lessons we will:

• Create a practice plan based on your goals and schedule

• Celebrate and stay motivated with practice rewards

• Practice effective finger placement and technique (it REALLY does make a difference!)

• Go through finger exercises to increase strength and agility

• Cover or review music theory in fun and intuitive ways

• Work on pieces that are interesting to you!

• Work toward performance opportunities (this may look different for each student depending on his or her goals)
